SunnyDitch is an old-school forum that focuses on stories in all the shapes they take, be it books, comics, TV, movies, or web-based series.

We don't post spoilers in thread headings. That's what #twitter is for.

WandaVision

The show that so far seems to be about a grief-stricken superpowered woman playing house with a zombie cyborg.

It's a BOOK LIGHT!

WandaVision

Every Friday, I rush home from work so I can watch the next episode of WandaVision at 6:30 with a small group of women from various points in the US. Every week we all pause at the same timestamp and then debate who says "go" and then invariably end up out of synch anyhow. (Usually, because my internet insists on buffering during these watch-along...) And it's possible that I am the one most invested in this show, as I am a pretty big MCU fan. (Not so much the comics since I grew up in a town without a comic book store.) But so far I am enjoying the show quite a bit, although I'm not keen on the idea of a woman going crazy due to grief. So I hope that's a red herring.

DUNE

The long-awaited epic, directed by Dennis Villeneuve, will be released this week, starting on Thursday, October 21st. Based on the book by Frank Herbert, this movie will only cover the first half even though a sequel is not guaranteed.

Fans of the books have been disappointed by previous attempts to translate the rather dense story, but I have a good feeling about this one. I think this might be the one.
